Welcome to the latest update from the Ultra Sports Clinic team at Tower Bridge! The recent period has given us a great opportunity to focus on developing our services, strengthening our professional networks, and ensuring we're ready for the next wave of patient needs. Here’s a look at what’s been happening at our Tower Bridge clinic.
Key Takeaways:
Teams & Personal News
A Warm Welcome to the Team

We’re thrilled to give a huge shout-out to our practitioner, Ryan Tan, who has been settling into the team exceptionally well. Ryan is already making a fantastic impact, and it’s been brilliant to see him integratingÂ
with our patients and the wider clinic family.
Industry Trends & Local Insights
Managing Training Load for Hyrox & Ironman

On the clinic floor, our team has observed a clear trend this season: a significant rise in tendinopathy presentations.
With many of our patients ramping up their training load for major endurance events like Hyrox and Ironman competitions, we're seeing a predictable (and manageable!) spike in load-related injuries. In particular, Achilles tendinopathies have been a very common presentation.
Our team is expertly guiding these athletes through crucial load management strategies and progressive rehabilitation programmes to get them to the start line, and more importantly, the finish line, in strong health.
