Meet Finlay, our Patient of the Month for March 2020 .
In October 2018 Finlay came to Ultra Sports Clinic after having undergone surgery, earlier that year, on his left knee.
Under the expert care of Ultra Sports Clinic's multi-disciplined team (MDT) which comprised of both Ashleigh Wienand (Physiotherapist) and Nicci Robson (Biokineticist), Finlay started a gradual rehabilitation programme which aimed at stretching and strengthening all the musculature in and around the knee.
Finlay loved all forms of exercise, particularly his football, so it was our end goal to eventually get Finlay back on the pitch, pain free and confident.
Over many months, Finlay worked very hard and was extremely consistent in all his prescribed rehab exercises.
Finlay is now performing advanced plyometric exercises with emphasis on functional core and stability.
Towards the end of last year, Finlay finally managed to return to pitch pain free.
We are extremely proud of all the hard work Finlay has put into his rehab and we can’t wait to see his continued progress in the months to come.
