Alexander had a right ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) repair done by Mr Paul Trikha after rupturing it playing football.
Alexander had a lot of bleeding after the surgery and experienced a haematoma over his hamstring where the ACL graft was taken from. Within 9 days of Kinesio taping by Colin Hill the haematoma improved significantly and he could manage to start the rehabilitation of his injury.
He is currently in the first 6 weeks post-surgery with the focus on decreasing swelling, restoring the joint mobility, muscle strength and general mobility.
There is still a long time to full recovery and return to play but with the guidance of the Ultra Sports Clinic team Alexander will be back on the football field.
