Meet Tom, our patient of the month!
Tom had an operation to remove a piece of wood that had been lodged into the back of his leg in 2020. Due to COVID and other issues, it wasn't for almost another 3 years that it was removed.
Tom has struggled to run and play football since the incident but has been working with Clinical Lead and Senior Physio Chris Fletcher to get back onto the pitch. After 3 months of rehab after his surgery, Tom is back to running and playing football regularly.
He still has a few more strength and endurance goals to hit, but he is continuing to work on these! Well done Tom!
