Jake has a degree in BSc Physiotherapy (Hons) from Keele University. As part of his degree, he also studied at York University, Toronto (Canada) and Flinders University, Adelaide (Australia) as part of an international year. He has recently completed his MSc in Sports Medicine, Exercise and Health at the University College of London (UCL).

Jake has a wealth of experience across elite professional football, including women’s first-team football, academy football, and consultancy work with professional athletes. He specialises in the rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries but has recently focused upon injury prevention and management with completing a research project at UCL on the subject.

Previously, Jake has worked at Stoke City, Crystal Palace and London City in the professional football setting. However, he also has experience working across a number of other sports and teams with having worked in the Polyclinic at the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games and having worked privately in London working with a number of runners, golfers and rugby players.

Outside of work, Jake enjoys travelling and exploring new places, you can find him running along the beach or swimming in the sea when he isn’t in clinic at Canary Wharf!
