Osteopathy Canary Wharf

Osteopathy Explained

Osteopathy is an established, recognised system of diagnosis and treatment with the main emphasis on the structural integrity of the body. It is distinctive in the fact that it recognises that much of the pain and disability we suffer from stems from abnormalities in the function of the body structure, as well as disease-related damage.

Our osteopathy service helps patients recognise and understand their injuries before undergoing a tailored treatment plan carried out by one of our osteopath Canary Wharf clinic experts.

Understanding Dry Needling & Acupuncture

The positive effects of dry needling & acupuncture may include decreased pain, increased flexibility and mobility. It can also assist in the relief of associated nerve symptoms such as pins and needles, numbness and headaches.

Both forms of treatment are often used as a form of trigger point therapy and are an effective way of alleviating soft tissue tension in the presence of sensitivity. At Ultra Sports Clinic, dry needling and acupuncture are used in conjunction with a range of other hands-on treatments to better facilitate your recovery.

Complimentary Consultations Tailored to you...

Osteopathy uses many of the diagnostic procedures used in conventional medical assessment and diagnosis. However, its main strength lies in the unique way the patient is assessed from a mechanical, functional and postural standpoint and the manual methods of treatment applied to suit the needs of the individual patient.

Osteopathy is a holistic therapy; therefore, the treatments given differ for everyone. Our Canary Wharf osteopath treatments include soft tissue work, gentle rhythmic movements, stretching, and articulatory and manipulative techniques.
