Leila is an Australian physiotherapist, she graduated from the University of Newcastle, Australia, with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (honours). Since graduating, Leila has completed post graduate training in Womens and Pelvic Health Physiotherapy and spent the majority of her career as a physiotherapist working in Womens Health. She is an affiliate member of the Pelvic, Obstetric and Gynaecological Physiotherapy (POGP). 

 

Leila has experience working in both Australia and the U.K. across both the private practice sector, and in public health settings, including the NHS. 

 

Some of the pelvic health and women's health conditions Leila treats can include pregnancy related pelvic girdle pain, pre and post-natal pelvic floor management and rehabilitation and birth injuries, various pelvic pain conditions including vaginismus and vulvodynia, pelvic organ prolapse, bowel dysfunction, urinary and faecal incontinence, post-operative gynaecological surgery rehabilitation, and return to exercise in the post-natal phase. 

 

Leila is passionate about supporting women through their pelvic health journey, and encouraging them to achieve their goals and feel confident in their body. Leila is a keen runner and enjoys many of London's scenic running routes. She loves hiking and all things outdoors, as well as trying many of London's fabulous restaurants.
